AAPB's 52nd Annual Scientific Meeting

A unique in-person RETREAT and learning experience...

Reconnection is imminent! It is just postponed due our concern for the safety of our community. AAPB invites you to "thrive together" at the 52nd Annual Scientific Meeting on March 23-26, 2022 at the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas, Irving, Texas.

The program of events and registration will be available NO LATER than September 2021. The call for submissions for the 52nd Meeting remains open. We encourage you to make plans early to attend the 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting. We all have a lot of catching up to do!

AAPB Guest Room Rate ‎

Association of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, Inc. has reserved a block of guest ‎rooms at the Omni Las Colinas Dallas at a discounted group rate on behalf of its members. ‎

Single/Double Occupancy:  $189.00 per night plus taxes – in room Wifi is included in the ‎room rate.‎

This group rate is applicable during AAPB’s meeting dates of March 23-26, 2022, as well as 3 ‎days pre/post-meeting on a space-available basis. All rates quoted are exclusive of applicable ‎taxes. Current guest room tax is 15%.   ‎

Attendees are encouraged to make their room reservations as early as possible. After Friday, ‎February 25th , guest room reservations and rates will be based upon availability. ‎

For reservations made on an individual basis, a credit card may be given to guarantee the guest ‎room reservation. The credit card will not be charged until the guest checks out of the Resort. ‎For individual guest room reservations, if individual cancels reservation less than 72 hours  ‎prior to their confirmed arrival date, or does not show, the Resort has the option to charge ‎a “cancellation” or “no-show” fee of one night’s room and tax.‎

The closest major airport is Dallas Forth Worth (DFW) which is about 15 minutes from the ‎hotel.  The second closest airport is Dallas Love Field (DAL) which is only 20 minutes from the ‎hotel.‎

Please consider submitting your ABSTRACT* for LATE presentation consideration at AAPB's 2022 Annual Meeting

We invite you to share your work as a workshop, symposium, or oral session (a 15-minute research summary) by submitting an abstract. The deadline for submissions is MONDAY, November 1, 2021
for LATE CONSIDERATION. The goal of this conference is to convene healthcare professionals, clinicians, physicians, researchers, and professionals using biofeedback and applied psychology together to share information, research, concepts, and outcomes.
 

Abstract Submission Guidelines

  • Abstracts must be categorized in one of the three tracks: 1. Basic Science (Intro or Advanced), 2. Hot Topics, and 3. Clinical Interventions and Optimal Performance
  • Content should maintain, develop and increase conceptual and applied competencies that are relevant to biofeedback/neurofeedback practice, education, and science.
  • Content should be based on current theory, method or practice and may provide information related to ethical, legal, statutory or regulatory policies, guidelines, and standards that impact biofeedback.
  • Presentations should emphasize takeaways that attendees can use in their practice.
  • For presentations discussing empirical research, presenters should report clear and appropriate statistical analyses and valid conclusions.
Abstract reviewers will be ensuring all submissions comply with APA guidelines related to learning objectives and commercial bias.

 

Submit your POSTER for presentation consideration at AAPB's 2022 Annual Meeting

The informal interactive process between a poster author and a interested, knowledgeable audience is probably the most beneficial aspect of scientific conferences. Authors can give and receive so much diverse information about their work in a short period of time.
