A unique in-person/virtual hybrid learning experience...
Reconnection is imminent! As the veil lifts on these extraordinary times, it is time to look forward. All signs point to the re-emergence of some return to normalcy this fall. AAPB invites you to "thrive together" at the 52nd Annual Scientific Meeting on October 20-23, 2021 at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida - with virtual considerations for presenters and attendees who may not be ready to travel.
We intend to offer the live, onsite event, with all CDC guidelines in place. Even though we will be clad in masks with distancing protocols in place - we will still be able to share space and time together. The safety and comfort of our presenters, exhibitors, attendees, hotel and travel personnel remains our highest priority. Should the pandemic risk heighten or the authoritative guidance change, we will make the final decision to "go live" no later than July 2021.
We encourage you to make plans early to attend both the 2021 and 2022 Annual Scientific Meetings. We all have a lot of catching up to do!

Submit your ABSTRACT* for presentation consideration at AAPB's 2021 and 2022 Annual Meetings
*workshops, symposia and oral presentations
The 2021 Annual Meeting offers presenters the option to present onsite in Orlando or to present virtually from home.
ATTENTION PREVIOUSLY ACCEPTED 2020 PRESENTERS: All 2020 accepted presenters (abstracts, workshop and posters) will be given consideration to present in 2021 or 2022. We will be in touch to determine your availability soon. There is no need to submit your 2020 submission for consideration. WE GOT YOU!
We invite you to share your work as a workshop, symposium, or oral session (a 15-minute research summary) by submitting an abstract. The deadline for submissions is MONDAY, MAY 17, 2021 at 11:59 PM ET.
The goal of this conference is to convene healthcare professionals, clinicians, physicians, researchers, and professionals using biofeedback and applied psychology together to share information, research, concepts, and outcomes.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstracts must be categorized in one of the three tracks: 1. Basic Science (Intro or Advanced), 2. Hot Topics, and 3. Clinical Interventions and Optimal Performance
Content should maintain, develop and increase conceptual and applied competencies that are relevant to biofeedback/neurofeedback practice, education, and science.
Content should be based on current theory, method or practice and may provide information related to ethical, legal, statutory or regulatory policies, guidelines, and standards that impact biofeedback.
Presentations should emphasize takeaways that attendees can use in their practice.
For presentations discussing empirical research, presenters should report clear and appropriate statistical analyses and valid conclusions.
Abstract reviewers will be ensuring all submissions comply with APA guidelines related to learning objectives and commercial bias.
Submit your POSTER for presentation consideration at AAPB's 2021 and 2022 Annual Meetings
The informal interactive process between a poster author and a interested, knowledgeable audience is probably the most beneficial aspect of scientific conferences. Authors can give and receive so much diverse information about their work in a short period of time.
ATTENTION PREVIOUSLY ACCEPTED 2020 POSTER AUTHORS: All 2020 accepted posters presenters will be automatically invited to present in 2021 or 2022. We will be in touch to determine your availability soon. There is no need to submit your 2020 submission for consideration. It is already online ...
Call for VOLUNTEERS - Abstract Reviewers and Conference Planning Committee
AAPB seeks qualified volunteers to review submitted abstracts and poster presentations. Interested volunteers should meet the qualifications and will need to complete the reviewer form by clicking here. All interested reviewers should complete the form by MONDAY, MAY 10, 2021.
AAPB Abstract Reviewer Qualifications
Reviewers will need to be available in early to mid June for their abstract review assignments. Abstract Reviewers will be entered into a prize drawing for two complimentary hotel nights in Orlando.
