Introduction to Biofeedback
An AAPB Independent Study Program
AAPB is pleased to announce the addition of a new Introduction to Biofeedback Independent Study Program. Edited by Andrew Crider, PhD, and Doil Montgomery, PhD, this program is now part of the constellation of services offered to our members and the public. It is designed to be a self-paced, in-depth educational experience for those individuals interested in pursuing their certification through the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America (BCIA), or those pursuing continuing education in biofeedback and its applications. There is no specific prerequisite for participation in the program.
For the first time, you may earn all 48 hours in the comfort of your home or office. You save on travel time and the expenses involved in workshop attendance. You have all of the material in front of you to read and re-read at your leisure. All of the necessary information is presented in step-by-step stages.
Just as there are eight areas covered by the BCIA general biofeedback blueprint, there are eight corresponding modules in the independent study series. Order one, two, or all of the modules as you wish. This allows you to control the cost and pace of learning. There is no more cost-effective way to earn the 48 didactic hours required by BCIA for certification or just to learn about biofeedback. In addition to BCIA, the program is designed for professional continuing education on the basis of your own choice of modules.
