Daniel LoPreto, PhD
Daniel LoPreto, Ph.D. is a Pennsylvania- and New Jersey-licensed psychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of traumatic psychological injury and psychologically-based pain disorders. He is in private practice in Bala Cynwyd, PA and performs disability evaluations for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Public Welfare, The City of Philadelphia, Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority, and USAirways.
Dr. LoPreto is President of PsyCare, Inc., a consulting firm that advises the insurance industry on matters concerning psychological injury and subsequent treatment in the areas of personal injury, workers compensation, and long-term disability.
Dr. LoPreto received his undergraduate education from Syracuse University, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in both Biology and Psychology. He earned both his Master’s and Doctoral degrees at Hofstra University, in an APA-approved combined program in School and Clinical Psychology. He has pursued post-graduate work in the areas of clinical hypnosis, applied psychophysiology and biofeedback, and forensic assessment and evaluation.
Dr. LoPreto is certified by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. He is a Fellow of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, as well as of the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America.
