PROFESSIONAL QEEG PROGRAM
Wednesday, November 5, 2014 - Friday, November 7, 2014
Oakland, CA
The Professional QEEG Program provides didactic and practical learning in acquisition and interpretation of EEG and QEEG and is an accredited 24-hour didactic for QEEGCB. Electroencephalogram (EEG) has been used in the medical arena for over 50 years to diagnose sleep disorders and epileptiform behaviors among other things. Neurologists are trained to read raw EEG tracings and have been diagnosing based upon its findings for years. For the past 20 years, quantitative EEG has been in use to help distinguish psychological, as well as other physiological disorders, for example anxiety, ADHD, depression, traumatic brain injury and stroke. Quantitative EEG (QEEG) or brain mapping compares the individual EEG to a normative database consisting of subjects who are of comparable age and sex and during the same task. The use of QEEG greatly improves the ability to accurately design neurofeedback protocols and helps determine the best medication for specific brain wave profiles.

QEEG, Live Z-Score, sLORETA Live, BrainAvatar, BrainDx, NeuroGuide review , and more Using (Discovery 24E) 19 Channels Reviewed
Wednesday, January 21, 2015 - Sunday, January 25, 2015
Cleveland, Ohio
For clinicians who are about to dive into the new and exciting world of QEEG brain mapping and interpretation, this 4 day workshop will unlock the mysteries of how morphology of RAW EEG converts into color coded normative brain maps that provide clinically relevant insights. Our team of highly qualified and experienced instructors will cover everything from the basics of how databases are developed and normed to the subtle clinical skill set needed to identify and address underlying neural disregulation. Significant time will be allotted for hands on practice with the established equipment and designs, as well as introducing cutting edge approaches that are demonstrating promising results. The brilliant combination of normative databases with BrainMaster's Mini-Q, and Discovery 24E adds a dimension that allows the practitioner to observe and train bain activity monitored at up to 19 channels (LZT ZOK, Z PLUS, PZ Motive, PZ Mean, including Z Bars, BrainAvatar, and Live Topographic Mapping) using the innovative live Z- Score methods (P ZOK). Practitioners from all levels of experience will walk away from this workshop with a richer understanding of how to use QEEG brain mapping and analysis to increase clinical efficacy.
