Applied Neuroscience FoundationBiofeedback Foundation of Europe
The Biofeedback Foundation of Europe sponsors education, training and research activities in biofeedback. The BFE is entirely supported by fees and gifts from corporate and non-profit members and from revenues generated by the sale of conferences, workshops, internet courses, courseware and books. The BFE supports activities in Europe, North & South America, Asia and Africa. The foundation's advisory board comprises leading clinicians and researchers from multiple disciplines who share a common interest in the dissemination of information about this rapidly growing field. For further information visit www.bfe.org.
The Federation of Behavioral, Psychological, and Cognitive Sciences (FBPCS)
The FBPCS is a dues-supported coalition of member organizations including AAPB, and academic and corporate affiliates. The Federation represents the interests of scientists who conduct research in the areas of behavioral, psychological, and cognitive sciences, focusing its efforts on legislative advocacy and education and the communication of information to scientists. AAPB members who are also members of the American Psychological Association (APA) receive a discount on their APA dues because both organizations are affiliates of FBPCS.
Fibromyalgia Syndrome
Fibromyalgia Syndrome was formed to offer a unique reference point on understanding the symptoms and treatments of joint pain and fibromyalgia. Acute joint pain, chronic fatigue and depression are just a few symptoms of fibromyalgia. This site explains all about this little understood syndrome. Our concern was that there was no single UK resource for interesting features and practical advice on this subject. Our features and articles are written by professional journalists and experts - who have a particular interest, or a background in this area.
National Fibromyalgia Association
Our mission is to develop and execute programs dedicated to improving the quality of life for people affected by fibromyalgia.
